Dear Members of the Board of Directors of FIABCI-Thai,
Distinguished Guests, Esteemed Laureates,
Ladies and Gentlemen,

Good evening.

It is a true honour and a great pleasure to be with you this evening at the FIABCI-Thai Prix d’Excellence Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner, here in the beautiful city of Bangkok.

Allow me, first and foremost, to express my sincere appreciation to His Excellency Mr. Voravut  Laipoonswat, Deputy Director General of the Department of Lands, Ministry of Interior in lieu of Minister of Interior, for graciously honouring this occasion with his presence. Your participation reflects Thailand’s strong commitment to quality urban development, sustainable cities, and the continued advancement of the real estate profession.

I would also like to extend my warmest congratulations to FIABCI-Thai, under the distinguished leadership of Dr. Sopon Pornchokchai, together with the Board of Directors and the organising committee, for their continued dedication to promoting excellence, professionalism, and innovation in the real estate industry, not only in Thailand, but throughout the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

This evening, we gather to celebrate nearly thirty outstanding projects from Bangkok, Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and many other provinces across Thailand. Each of these developments represents far more than architectural achievement. They reflect vision, perseverance, creativity, and a deep commitment to improving the communities they serve.

As FIABCI World President-Elect, and as I prepare to officially assume the role of FIABCI World President this coming June in Vienna, I am especially proud and encouraged to witness the strength, ambition, and international outlook of FIABCI-Thai. Your chapter continues to inspire the wider FIABCI family through its commitment to sustainability, professional standards, and meaningful global engagement.

The FIABCI National Prix d’Excellence competitions are not merely award ceremonies. They are part of a global platform that recognises projects which contribute to better cities, stronger communities, and an enhanced quality of life. I therefore warmly encourage all of tonight’s winners to take their achievements to the international stage and participate in the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards, whose winners will be announced at the 2027 FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Toronto, Canada.

In today’s rapidly changing world, the responsibility of real estate professionals extends far beyond construction and development. We are entrusted with shaping the future of our cities, protecting our environment, and creating places where future generations can live, work, and thrive.

It is in this spirit that I continue to believe deeply in the values of “Love and Sharing” — sharing knowledge, sharing best practices, sharing innovation, and sharing our common responsibility to build more sustainable, inclusive, and human-centred communities around the world.

Thailand has always played an important and active role within the FIABCI family. I am confident that, in the years ahead, our cooperation will continue to grow even stronger, bringing our chapters, members, and partners closer together in pursuit of excellence.

Once again, I offer my heartfelt congratulations to all the award winners this evening. Your achievements are a source of pride for Thailand and an inspiration to the international real estate community.
