Dr. Lai is a Singaporean and now a New Zealander. He was formerly a consultant to Royal Thai Government on Valuation. He is a retired chartered surveyor qualified in both property valuation and quantity surveying.  He had both private and corporate clients in China, Indonesia, Malayasia, New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand.

Dr.Lai will look at the roles of property valuers in society beyond their roles in property taxation, in financial mortgages, and in assets valuations of listed companies. Let's see:
