On behalf of FIABCI-Thai, I and the association are very pleased that Your Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior generously spared you invaluable time to chair this seminar today.

 

FIABCI-Thai organizes this seminar to bring the experience of managing the purchase of real estate by foreigners in various countries to study for the benefit of applying in Thailand and to bring the experience of controlling real estate professionals such as real estate agents and appraisers in each country for comparative study in Thailand and neighboring countries.

 

Today's seminar had speakers and participants invited by the association from 12 countries: Korea, Cambodia, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, United States, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, as well as Thailand. There were approximately 150 participants in this seminar, almost half of whom were from overseas, especially Myanmar, which is very interested in buying real estate in Thailand.

 

FIABCI-Thai sincerely hopes that Thai government agencies, financial institutions, land developers and real estate professionals in Thailand and abroad will benefit from this seminar. The association will present the results of the seminar to the government later as well.

 

I would like to ask the Deputy Prime Minister to give an opening speech to bring good fortune to us here.
