FIABCI April Free Webinar: Innovation in Real Estate Appraisal

FIABCI World Council of Expert would proudly like to organize a webinar on Innovation in Real Estate Appraisal. The guest speaker is Paula K. Konikoff, JD, MAI, AI-GRS, President, Appraisal Institute (AI). She would kindly deliver the innovation in real estate appraisal. As you may know, AI is the world’s largest appraisal organization based in Chicago, USA. This will last for an hour.
It will happen on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 7pm in California, USA which will be Thursday, April 24 at 3am (Paris), 6am (UAE), 7:30am (Delhi), 9am (Thailand/Indonesia), 10am (China, Malaysia, Singapore), 11am (Tokyo), 1pm (Sydney), 3pm (Auckland).

About the Speaker
Paula K. Konikoff, JD, MAI, AI-GRS
2025 President of the Appraisal Institute.
In her private practice, she serves as an arbitrator and provides expert testimony and consulting in real estate litigation. She is a member of the AAA and FINRA panels of neutrals. Prior to establishing her independent real estate advisory practice in 1993, Ms. Konikoff was Director of National Real Estate Valuation Services at KPMG. Previously, she was an attorney at the Philadelphia law firm of Dilworth, Paxson, Kalish & Kauffman.
Ms. Konikoff has taught graduate and undergraduate level courses on real estate and was an adjunct professor at New York Law School (2010-2020). She is an instructor for the Appraisal Institute as well, and develops courses seminars for the Appraisal Institute. She is a frequent speaker and author on arbitration, appraisal standards and other real property issues and the author of “Appraisers in Arbitration,” She was also a member (2003-2009) and twice Vice-Chair of the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB).
She has served as vice chair of Region VII, is past chair of the Professional Standards and Guidance Committee, of which she was a member for many years, and is a member of the Body of Knowledge Committee. She received her MAI Designation in 1986 and became active in the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers (an AI predecessor organization) as a member of her chapter’s Admission Committee and as an instructor. She has served on the Standards Committee, the Ethics Committee, the Admissions Appeal Board, and her chapter’s Board of Directors. Additionally, she was involved in the creation of the national Women’s Initiative Committee in 2019 and was its first chair. She is the author of “Appraisers in Arbitration,” a developer of online seminars, a member of the development team for the AI-GRS qualifying education and a reviewer of textbooks published by the Appraisal Institute and articles submitted to “The Appraisal Journal.”
Paula has been recognized twice with the President’s Award and once with the Y.T. and Louise Lee Lum Award.
